If you are vaccinated will you continue to wear a mask?
If you are vaccinated, will you still wear a mask? So many I know who are in the ‘at risk’ category have said they will continue when indoors.
Just curious how others feel. And trying to gage what it will soon look like in stores.
ETA, I don’t care either way....it’s a personal choice and everyone needs to do what they are comfortable with.

Yes.
Especially in places with recirculated air like stores, malls, public transportation. People are gross,
I’ll also wear them when I’m not feeling great but I’m not sick enough to stop my life and take off from work. Same with my kids. I hope parents will do the same with their children.

I will wear a mask in stores/at work until my DS can be vaccinated in the fall. I might also wear it in the winter during cold/flu season as I think masks have significantly reduced the transmission of those.

Definitely. I will wear it whenever I have to be close to people because I have absolutely no faith that the unvaccinated will do their part and continue to wear masks

I think wearing a mask when your not feeling great will become a normal thing (and I hope it does)
I hope so too. I'm ready to get rid of the mask but if I have a bad cold or whatnot I will mask up before going out.

As with any COVID-19 case, the risk of breakthrough infections is highest in close, indoor quarters where people aren't distanced or wearing masks. I will continue to wear my mask indoors to protect others like a normal human being.

i have a feeling that a lot of people who are not vaccinated will go maskless and there will me a few spikes in our future. i hope and pray that i'm wrong.
i will continue to wear a mask in places like stores, malls, airplanes, etc.
being that no one in my family has had even a cold in the last year+ has helped me decide that a mask will be part of my life for some time to come.

I'll continue to wear a mask, even when we're all vaccinated. Unless my boyfriend and I break up and I need to flirt with the guy in the grocery store. :D

I do have a question though. pretty much my entire office is vaccinated except for a few people who have made it known they're NOT getting the vaccine. They are the ones who can not wait to pull off their mask.
Is my company allowed to ask for proof of our vaccines?

No, unless I am required to, e.g., at a private business mandating it or a nursing home.
ETA: I shouldn't say "No" so unequivocally. I don't have plans to wear a mask during, say, flu season in crowded areas, but I'm not close-minded to the idea. I highly doubt that I will, but I suppose we shall see.

But it depends who you talk to. Some say it’s a violation of HIPPA and others say no. I just don’t think many businesses will put themselves in the situation to ask.

Haven't there been a number of studies suggesting that the vaccine is likely effective at preventing the spread?
I do not think it is accurate to say a vaccinated person is as much of a risk as an unvaccinated person. A vaccinated person has a much lower chance of getting COVID in the first place, and, to the best of my knowledge, the evidence is pointing in the direction of reduced risk of spread as well.

You can, but studies show being vaccinated reduces transmission so the chances are lower.

Target did not say if they are requiring proof and I think most places won’t.
I also don’t understand how the tickets for games is working as my kid just got Yankee tickets and was not asked for proof when ordering.

I won't unless its required - with some exceptions - I will definitely wear a mask from now on on the subway - there are so many germs floating around there anyway, it seems like a good idea. I will also wear one on the plane.

Only when going indoors. My son had a baseball tournament this weekend (or course it was outdoors) only a few people wore masks.They did not enforce it like they used to. They just said when entering the food court, or indoor facility to put a mask on.

My company said they will not ask - they are very risk adverse when it comes to things like that and don't want to take any chances.
