If u had Newborn photos taken, how old was your newborn?

I had someone booked for Aaron's newborn pics, but she couldn't work with me when it was all said and done. I had Aa 2 weeks early, Dec 12. He was eating 2-3 hrs and I was just overwhelmed with a newborn, Xmas, and a 2 1/2 year old with a cold.

I ended up booking someone else and I am finally doing the newborn pics, but he will be 6 weeks old. To me he still looks like a newborn and he is. I guess I feel guilty, because I really wanted newborn photos during the 5 - 12 day period.

So, just wondering, did you do newborn photos within that period or a little later?

DS was 6 days old.

DS was in the NICU for a week and after he got out, the photographer whom we had booked our shoot with had an emergency and had to cancel so we had to reschedule with a different photographer. DS was 2 weeks old when we finally got his photos done.

7 days old, any age is just toooo cute, it doesn't matter.

We had them done at about 5 weeks since DD was sick and we really didn't want anyone around. 6 weeks should be fine, any pictures of your LO are always cute.

6 days old. most photographers perfer to do a newborn shoot within the first 10-14 days because they are still super bendy and sleep through most anything. there is never a bad time though

DD was almost 4 weeks. We would have had them done sooner but she was a preemie and had to stay in the NICU for a couple of weeks.

I think she was 8 days old at her newborn shoot with Avajack

DD was 5 days old. I would still have them taken.

She was 2 weeks when we had the pictures taken. I think 6 weeks would still be fine.

6 weeks will be fine. DS was 8 days...

DS was 13 days old. I won a shoot and the photog almost didn't want to take the pics because it was past the "window". Like a PP mentioned the baby isn't as bendy and sleepy. I don't see why you couldn't still do it though, you just might not be able to get certain poses. I couldn't get the hands under the chin pose . I would definitely still do it, the pics we had taken are my favorite shots of DS and just so precious. DO IT!

DD was 4 days and DS was 10 days, I think?

lara was 10 days old i was booked for 6 days old but I had a minor set back with my c section so i had to push it back a few days
