If I could ask for prayers for Mom...Please keep praying...
She's decided to take the plunge and get knee replacement surgery. She hasn't walked right in over 20 years and the doctors told her either get the surgery or outfit yourself with a wheelchair. I wish she had gotten it sooner; she lost so much time (both being in pain and missing out on specific events, etc.). She went in around noon but I haven't heard anything since. This is the 1st of two...
Please pray for Mom She's the best Grandma, Mom and Best Friend a girl could ask for I hope this is the miracle she needs.

Well, surgery took 2x as long as it was supposed to. She has bad osteoporosis and they were afraid her bones would splinter. She's going to be in the hospital for up to two weeks I wish the news had been better.

Everything will be fine. My grandmother had both of her knees replaced and everything went well.

I bet your mom will see a great improvement. My mom has severe rhumetoid arthritis and she's had both knees done (one of them twice - first over 20 years ago and again recently) and a shoulder and an elbow. There will be some recovery of course, but from what my Mom has said, the knee is the easiest of the joints (at least from her various experiences)
