Where I used to work we could wear headphones, because all we were doing was data entry. Someone thought it would be funny to sneak up and try to scare me...and my reaction was to punch him in the gut. I was so embarrassed but it just happened bc I was startled

At first glance, I would say, Yeah I'd do it!! I love horror films, love to get scared...but as far as them putting things in your mouth and other sexual acts, nahhhh I'd pass! If I tried it, I would probably scream "safety" within minutes!

They gave me a rinky dink surgical mask to wear and the SMALLEST keychain flashlight ever.
Offered me a shot of whiskey for $1 before I went in (which I gladly took).
Then I walked into darkness trying to find my way and someone grabbed me from behind and as I screamed a potato sack was put over my face and someone grabbed me from the front and said "Don't you f**king move or make a f**king sound of I'll KILL YOU!"
I was then handcuffed with my hands in the back and chained to some sort of block. I was made to stand there with the sack over my face, and I began to feel hands on my legs, arms, back. I felt someone nibbling on my ear through the sack and felt something that seemed like a cold knife on my arms. This went on for a few minutes until they released me and had me go up some steps and down some steps and finally when I was really disorientated they took the sack off and told me to follow the line on the floor.
The line on the floor is barely visible and it's pitch black. There were more people who jumped out/touched me, and I had to sometimes crawl on my hands and knees through bags and stuff.
There was a little more, but not as bad as the beginning. I've heard it's become even MORE terrifying and messed up now.

wow, that sounds pretty creepy!! I think I would have to take several shots of whisky before entering! thanks for sharing

What did they make you put in your mouth? I'm dying to know what is so vile that the reviewer is talking about! To me, personally, it would be a packet of mayo but for some reason I think it's more appalling than that. LOL

$60 is a lot. I can't see myself spending that much. Although I will say aside from the sticking crap in my mouth it does sound somewhat interesting to try. Never would though.

My co-worker and my SIL nearly did this to me on the train once. He came up behind me and shoved me while I had my headphones on. I turned around, fists ready. He learned his lesson. Same thing with SIL!

I think it would be cool IF............
1) I didn't have to be ALL alone
2) I wasn't EXTREMELY claustrophobic. I would have an incapacitating panic attack within the first few steps inside of complete darkness and not be able to breathe.
EDIT - After reading the link which outlines the haunted house step-by-step and I change my answer to H-E-L-L NO I wouldn't do that haunted house!!!

Wow!! They definitely changed it from when I went and amped it up. I'm guessing people told them the first year it was good but not scary enough...and they wanted to really mess with people.
