I think i was just exposed to Swine Flu!!
My husband and i just bought our family car and i had to go to the DMV to get transit plates to get it home. I went to the DMV when they opened at 8am and was in there for about 10 minutes, I found out a few hours later that the shut down the DMV not long after because someone with Swine Flu went through there the DMV!! There was only one other person in there when i was there but does that mean i was exposed to it?? Im 6 months pregnant..
Do you think i am ok?

Im sure you are FINE. Call your dr if youer concerned but i guarentee he will also say you are fine

Bloomberg said yesterday if you are right near a person, then through the droplets they breathe, cough, sneeze, you will inhale it without knowing. However, if you are in one part of the DMV and the person is at the other end, you should be fine. And from what it sounds like, even if you do get it, it is very mild. People seem to be better in a few days here as apposed to seriously ill in Mexico. I know it stinks, but I'm sure you'll be fine. Call your dr. just for reasurrance anyhow.

How did they find out someone had the swine flu..That makes me mad if they were sick they shouldn't have gone to a crowded place like the DMV. I'm sure your fine..Call your ob they probabaly wouldn't give you Tamiflu anyway cause it is category C drug.. Take your VitaminC

How did they even know this person had swine flu?
What DMV were you in?

I'm sure you are okay. Unless you were close to the person, I wouldn't be worried. I work at St. Francis and walked by the nurses office and even sent one kid to the nurses office (I don't know which kids had swine flu due to confientiality) but I am okay (I'm 5 months pregnant.) MY doctors told me to just rest and relax, drinking plenty of fluids, and if I see any symptoms to go to the hospital,tell them my situation, get them to isolate me and treat me - also, by no means should you go to L&D....I hope you feel good.
