I know I am SUPPOSED to be...
A mature and responsible adult. However, the other day I had to have a very detailed conversation about birth control, hormones, my fertility, vasectomies, sperm and my eggs all in front of my mom.
She never gave me the sex talk and its not really something we talk about.
I was actually embarrassed.
What or when was the last time you were reaaallly embarrassed?

I would feel the same way in front of my mom! I can't even talk about my period in front of her without feeling akward.
She is VERY prudish and old fashioned and we just NEVER spoke of those things.
Maybe that is why I am the complete opposite now. I'm very open about sex talk....with everyone EXCEPT my mom!

Probably at Christmas. DH bought me impossibly high heeled boots.
My mother said "You like those?"
I said "Yes they're fine."
My dad asked, "Do you have some kind of shoe fetish?"
DH volunteereed, "No, I do."
