I had an awesome experience yesterday
The whole reason I became a teacher (specifically Spanish and French) was because of the amazing teachers I had all throughout junior high and high school.
A former student of mine who I had in 7th and 8th grade, who is now a senior in H.S. came to visit me yesterday afternoon. She told me that she was going to college to become a Spanish teacher and that I was her inspiration.
It was a touching moment. This is why I do my job. I am who I am today because of those teachers and now I know that I played a part in someone's life. It was such an amazing feeling.

Very cool...you always hope as a teacher that you're reaching someone. Just goes to show you that you mean the world to someone! What an awesome thing...I can't wait for that!!
