If it makes you feel any better the market is bound to go up again and you will make this money back. I'm assuming you are young and have many years till your retirement. Try not to worry too much especially if you are in for the long haul PS...this is what my husband told me when i was worrying this afternoon

I know it's low right now, but I'm in it for the long haul and won't be touching that money for at least 30 years. There's no sense in losing my mind of it right now.

I think all of our accounts got a beating but I think the biggest mistake is to pull your money out right now...the market is going to rebound, and while I believe that its going to be a while before we see it prosper, I think we're going to make up our losses.
