I cheated and took an HPT..DR. CONFIRMED ..BFN

Should I even bother going tomorrow for the blood test? AF technically isn't here yet, but, you know how you feel "those" cramps, and you know what's about to come...well, I'm feeling them now. I had some brown discharge since last night, and that's usually AF's m.o.
I'm taking this one pretty well, even thought both DH and I thought that we got or bfp this time. Oh well...
I don't want to kick myself when I'm already down, so I wasn't sure about going in the am for the bloodtest.
?????
UPDATE:
I took the test today. I had to go to the dr.'s office today for my injection class because this next cycle will be follistum injectables and the nurse did the bloodtest for me today so that I didn't have to come in in the am.
Unfortunately, she won't have the results back until tomorrow afternoon.
To tell you the truth, I really don't think it's positive, but I have a peace with it. I will do this next cycle with the injectables and see what happens.

I'm sorry you got the BFN.
But I can only say this. Not to get your hopes up, but sometimes your HCG level is so low that the HPT can't read it. I would still continue the progesterone and go for the blood test.
Although it didn't work out well, I got a BFN on a HPT, went for the blood anyway, and I was pregnant. It was a chemical, but still -- it was there.

Go for the blood test. I am not trying to get your hopes up, but I took a HPT the morning before my Dr. appt. and got a BFN, so I was shocked when the doc called with my bloodwork later that day and said I was preggo.
Maybe it was a bad test I took, I don't know....but go.

I would go for the bloodtest anyway...you'll find out what's going to happen on your next cycle if it is negative.
I'm sorry if it is negative..this rollercoaster ride has to be the worst in the world.

I know someone who took an HPT the morning of her blood test and got a BFN, but ended up with a positive beta, so don't count yourself out yet.
