I am sorry for one more post - BPA....would you throw out the cup if you were only using cold liquids in it ?

Nope. I still use Dr. browns bottles for my youngest, she gets cold/room temp water for her formula and is never heated.
I say though if you feel uncomfy, chuck em. I have 2 more months of bottles, so i only use them cause i'm not buying new ones for a couple months.

Nope
But everyone is going to question on if you put it in the dishwasher to clean it.
