First Sippy Cup?
At today's 6 month check-up the Dr said to introduce the sippy cup with 2 oz of water, no juice. I tried introducing it a few weeks ago, and DS loves the idea but can't seem to get anything out of it. My husband says he can't either, LOL. So I need to get a new sippy cup. What do you recommend for a first sippy cup?

I had to squeeze the valve to activate it in the playtex sippy cup we have. Maybe that's why nothing is coming out?

No, I did that. He seems to chew on the spout.

Both girls took very well to the Nuby Flip if Soft straw sippys as the first sippy.
I also use the Playtex soft sipper, but they def get more out of the Straw sippys.

I bought a sippy, DS is 7 mons, and still havent given it to him...jeez I need ot get on the ball, LOL

DD likes the Nuby. Since the top is soft plastic she can chew it and when she chews it and picks it up slightly she gets some water. I do have to fill the entire sippy cup up with water (she doesnt drink all of it)...otherwise she would never get any. She hasn't yet figured out to that she has to tilt her head back a liitle.

I must have bought every sippy out there and Taylor wasn't too cooperative. Anything with a handle would get flung directly on the floor. The only thing that worked for us was the take n' toss ones.
