I am so proud- a little update
I just have to gush a moment about Dh. About 3 years ago, DH officially started his own carpentry/cabinetry/furniture making business. He started off getting very small jobs. I remember him saying he just wants every job to be over $1000. Then he started getting those jobs, and he said I want every job to be over $5000.
Well now he is doing whole apartments of 5th Avenue folks. He has impressed some high end interior designers so much that they are referring him- so of course the jobs are bigger and higher end.  He hasn't even been advertising because he is getting so much work just from referrals and from reviews that his clients posted about him (without any solicitation) on apartment therapy.
I am just really proud!
UPDATE: So I met one of DH's high end clients. They raved about him. Then today, he met with another interior designer who was raving about him, and even wanted to talk to me on the phone to tell me how amazing he is.

That is awesome! You should be very proud! In my opinion it takes a lot of bravery, self-confidence and skill to go into business for yourself, it is a scary venture. Congrats to both of you!
