I am asking for prayers...update, more bad news
Some of you know that my mom has Crohn's Disease for about the last 19 years or so.
She has been having a lot of issues from it over the past few years and so they started to run more tests recently that her doctors were holding off on for a while, and the colonoscopy determined that she has a large mass and she is going in to have it removed on January 26th, which is also my parents' wedding anniversary. 
Right now they don't know exactly what the mass is, it could be a tumor, could be lots of other things. They weren't able to do the biopsy when she had the colonoscopy, but please pray that it isn't anything bad and that the surgery goes well for my mom. She is a very prayerful person and I do strongly believe in the power of prayer and the strength in the members of this board.
Thanks so much everyone! I'll keep you all updated on how it goes!

1/13 - Spoke with my mom last night and they called her yesterday with the results of the preliminary kidney tests that they did, since they thought she might have a problem there also, and it turns out htat she does. Her kidneys aren't working properly so she will be seeing a specialist for that on the 24th. I'll keep everyone posted. Right now she and my father are off on a trip to Cancun with his job --- she wanted to go and not miss it, so I hope she is enjoying herself and getting some much-needed rest!
