How much to pay a sitter for a 4 month old?
How much would you pay a sitter to watch a 4 month old in THEIR house? The sitter also watches other kids? Just curious what the going rate is these days?

We pay $100 per day.

I work 3 days per week - so we use her for the 3 days. I drop DS off at 7am. If DH is not working he picks him up at 5pm. If DH is working I pick him up at 7pm. So basically we pay $100 for 12 hours. Its a flat rate per day if we use her for 10 hours or 12 hours.
Aside from DS, she watches a girl who is a few days younger 5 days per week and then she also watches a 2 year old a few hours a day 3 or 4 days per week.

Thanks ladies....I really only need someone 3 days a weeks for 4 hours each day and then 3 times each month.....one of those days will be a full day.
