How much milk for a 1 year old?

My DD has been EBF since birth but I have started to give her cows milk in her sippy cup to subsitute for one feeding a day - trying to wean her. Problem is I cannot rem how much she should be getting a day from milk if that is her primary source.

Can you advise?

My DD just turned 1 2 wks ago and the DR said 24oz of milk is plenty since she also has solids during the course of the day.

Noah gets about 21 oz per day...I think its probably just about right!

Thanks...so REALLY dumb question...do you measure out the amount at the beginning of the day and keep that in the fridge?

I usually do his morning cup or bottle and his bedtime bottle when I am putting him to bed. Then I do a sippy cup in the day for him...he makes a bloody mess with the cup! Oooh good idea for a spinoff...

My doctor told me 18 oz at one year. I know there are plenty of people who do a little more and a little less on the boards. I think if you try for around that amount, you'll also notice if your dc needs more or less.
