How Much Does Your Newborn Sleep?
Mine sleeps all day!!! She is up for maybe 2 hours MAX during the day and wakes up for her feedings but goes right back to sleep. At night she seems to be up a little longer, but not much. I just feel like she is sleeping too much. How much does your newborn sleep?

I always felt the more they slept the more they grew--enjoy the quiet time and get some rest yourself

She was sleeping a lot, but since last week (she is now 6 1/2 weeks) the really long naps aren't happening anymore. Sometimes she is sleeping for longer intervals at night, but she has been very cranky this week.

I remember worrying about this but don't because soon enough they will be awake much more then they sleep

DS is 3 weeks old now and I noticed he has been staying awake a little longer after his feedings, maybe 30 min. to an hour. Than he usually goes back to sleep for a couple of hours before he wakes up again to eat.
