How many times in your life have you lost your wallet?
Since I've been with my husband in the past 10 years he has lost his wallet 3 times!!!!!!!!!!! The third being last night!!!!!!!!!! I mean what is wrong with the man??????? 
ETA: I have never lost mine or had it stolen yet (knock on wood).

Twice.
Once in college (it was returned w/ everything inside!)
And once recently I thought I left it at the supermarket. Turns out, it was under the seat in my car!

one it was stolen out of my car
(i left it on the floor or my car by accident)
second it dropped out of my purse in the street and the sanitation guy picked it up and called me to get it- he left everything in it

once it was stolen. when I was working in disney world- by one of the guests- for some reason I brought it "on stage" with me when I was working at the Mad Hatter. And somebody swiped my wallet and camera.

Once.
I accidentally left it in the seat of the shopping cart at the Stop and Shop in the Sands Shopping Center in Oceanside. Drove all the way to Long Beach to then BF house, unloaded bags and then realized I didn't have it  BF drove me back and sure enough, the place I left the cart was empty. Amazingly enough, someone had turned it in to the courtesy desk and I got everything back! Everything! There are good people in the world.
DH lost his once. Found it 4 years later.... Get this - in a leased car that was turned in by one of his customers (he is a car dealer). He must have had the wallet drop between the seat and the side. Customer leases car in 2001 and has it for 4 years. Turns it back in 2005 and DH is cleaning it out and finds his wallet. In tact, with everything in it. I didn't believe him until I saw it!

once
about 2 days before my wedding, i was cleaning up and forgot that I had left it in a grocery bag (my hands were full) - so I threw it down the incinerator of our apt building!  I had to wake up the super at 11 o'clock at night for him to open up the catch in the basement - after rummaging through tons of stinky garbage, we found it! thank goodness!! because I had about $300 in there!

I left my wallet on the train once. I had my dad's girlfriend's telephone number in it and the conductor called her to tell her that he had found the wallet...I was really lucky!

ETA: I have never lost mine or had it stolen yet (knock on wood).
Are we married to the same guy?? DH has lost his at least 2-3 times in the last few years.
The last time was two years ago and he lost over $600 cash that he had in his wallet.
He has learned not to carry around any large sums of money in his wallet from then on, and also never lost his wallet again. Expensive lesson but he learned to be more careful.

WOW that's a pretty amazing story about DH. I guess the guy never cleaned his car that well.

Once. I had just moved to Germany three days before and I lost 80 Euro and all my credit cards, ATM cards, bus pass- everything. I did have the number for myy bank account over there, but that didnt have much money in it. I had enough money for bus fare and thank god b/c they were checking that afternoon to make sure you had a ticket. My mom had to wire money and it was just a mess for a little while. But someone did turn in the wallet to a local police station without the money. At least I got the wallet back.
