We did. I figured they're only little once and when the baby cuteness wears away, that's when we'll stop.
DH and I said once they are in school and they take yearly school pictures, we'll only take family pics and for special occasions like communion and confirmation..

We didn't take her for 2 year pics because we do CHristmas pics in November and it is only a month later, and I regret it.
I am trying to convince DH that I need to take her fr 3rd b-day pics!

We do all our pics at home. I feel it's more personalized that way (the backdrops are relevant to DC in some way), plus if I do them at home, I can take dozens of pics, and if DC starts getting antsy or cranky, we can stop and try again in an hour or so.
I did posed shots for each month of their first year, then each birthday after that.

I took pictures but I didn't bother getting professional ones made. I'm not a fan of studio portraits. I prefer more natural settings.

We had a photographer come to the house for her 1st and 2nd and plan to do the same for her 3rd. For her 2nd and this year we combined 3 year and holiday photos since they are only a few months apart.

No, both of my kids hate those places and won't sit still. I just do pics of them at home.

I stopped at the year photos. I only did 3 months and 1 year. That can get expensive.

so funny you asked this...
I am still very unsure if we are going for 2nd birthday pics or not. Mostly because I cannot fathom that Nikolas is going to sit still for them at ALL , not to mention how it gets even if they do get good shots
So I will wait a few weeks and decide

I took my kids when they were smaller so yes I did do 2 year old pics. But when they get in school, they get to pro pics so I stopped doing it @ 3 yrs old. Plus once you find the awesomeness of the Barbara & Lorimarie pics, what can really compare?
I do my own home pics for Christmas cards bc it's pretty near impossible to get a pic of all 3 of my kids without taking 1700 pics.

I did and will get her 3 year pics next week. Its the only time I do professional pics...I do my own Christmas pics and take a ton thru the year. Once she goes to school I will stop. I will do the same for Lindsay.

yes Aly had 2 yr pics taken. Ive taken her every 6 mths or so because the way it falls is her b'day and then 6 mths later - xmas pics..
