I usually follow but since I am trying to breastfeed I am listening to my body when it needs certain foods.

We had pizza on Wed. I usually follow it but My DH always says... Did you get ashes on Wednesday? When was the last time you went to church so I had chicken tonight

He actually trys to follow it. Well at least in front of me. For all I know he could be getting a bacon egg and cheese for breakfast on the way to work.

When we were kids, my family followed the " no meat Fridays" rule ALL YEAR LONG! 
My sister & I swore up and down that when we would get married and have children of our own, we'd never make them do this. Guess what? Old habits die hard- no meat EVER on a Friday & the kids and DH's don't seem to mind.
