How long does it usually take you to get thank you notes out?
Derek's party was the 5th and I still haven't gotten them out  I am usually so good witht his stuff.
I forgot to order them before the party so I ordered them the week after. Took over a week to get them and than I started writing them out and didnt get them all done before we went away last week. I wanted to send them out all together.

I try to do them that night after the party or the next day, but I am anal like that. Sometimes I write them out that night but then don't send them for a week bc I have no stamps! 
I wouldn't worry about when you send them. People will like getting them no matter when they arrive.

I TRY to get them out asap.
When DD was born, I was pretty good about gettng them out as I got gifts.
Her 1st birthday I am embarrassed to admit it was almost 3 months before I got them out. I have no excuse other than I was pregnant and suffering REALLY bad with constant morning sickness. I was barely functioning in taking care of day to day tasks and taking care of DD.
I just got out my TY's for gifts after DS' was born about a week and a half ago. I had to wait for his thank you cards to come in the mail first.

I'm usually pretty good about getting them out within a couple of weeks.
DS just had his 3rd birthday party on the 12th and his thank you's went out last week.

I am TERRIBLE about it! DSs party was onthe 11th and I still haven't gotten them out. I do plan on doing them all this week!

I am so anal about that, I usually get them out the next day or 2. I have been that way with gifts also.

I try to get them out ASAP! Since we didn't have a big party for DS this year & I wanted to do a photo card, I just ordered them last week & they should arrive by 10/6.

When I just had Jack I could get Thank You's out within a week.
After Tyler it takes a few weeks (usually a month) for me to get my act together.

DD's party was on the 5th also and my goal is to have them out in the mail by 10/5 (my goal is to get them out sometime within the following month)...now, if i could just get started...

I try to get them out within the week following the party. It doesn't always happen but I do try.

TY's take me forever. I can't help but write really long thought out messages. This year they'll go out way after his bday since his cake smash will be after his bday. As long as i get them out I'm ok with it.

For Julia's Christening it took me a couple of months. I am trying so hard to be better organized with this and I am forcing myself to start doing them immediately after her 1st birthday party which is in less than two weeks. I don't like things like that hanging over my head.

responding again  It also depends on what kind of TY I am doing. If it has a photo from the event then it takes longer - a couple weeks. If I am just doing regular ones - they go out asap.

i just did a photo TY from DS' bday -
his photo shoot was 7/31, i had the disc 2 weeks later and sent an order to costco photo center that day...they were ready in an hour, i wrote them out that night, and mailed them the next day.

I typically like to have them out right away. For ds first b-day it took a bit longer since I ordered after his party. Normally I would be writing them within a few days of the party.

OMG Gabbie this is me too, the kicker is they've been written out sitting on my desk for the past week and I was going back and forth with ordering ones that had a picture and then just ended up writing them out...I feel awful because I am usually so on top of this stuff.
