how does a baby with no teeth?

eat an ENTIRE waffle?
DD eats everything....she was sitting next to my other DD at breakfast and just took her waffle right out of her hand and proceeded to eat the entire thing
while my other DD was saying....Brianna can I have some of MY waffle because I am hungry
by the way when is my poor baby getting some teeth she is almost 9months old
