How do you know when you baby starts to teeth
Luka has been sucking on his fists for about a week and today he cried for 40 minutes straight. Yesterday he cried for 20 minutes and I am wondering if he is teething. He is 2.5 months old.

He may be starting to. It sounds like he's got some symptoms down. Christopher started the teething process at 3 months and would have days like that, though his teeth didn't come through until months later.

I thought so, my MIL said that DH had his first tooth at 3 months. Any recommendations as to what will sooth him at this young age.

It sounds like he is teething.
Emily put anything and EVERYTHING in her mouth when she first started, including her hands and FEET! Plus she drooled constantly!

I'm so glad you posted this. I was just wondering the same thing about my little girl. She is 9 weeks old and has started drooling ALOT!

Sydney went through some different phases. There was a week period of time where she would just drool all day long. That seemed to let up. Then she would do the fist thing for a while and now she doesnt do that but does put everything in her mouth..including my fingers. Yesterday she put my finger in her mouth and I felt a really sharp bud so maybe we'll have a tooth soon.

SOunds like it to me too. Katie started about a week or so ago, she's only 2 mos old today! Crazyness! She's sucking her hands like crazy and the pacifier too. She dewls a lot and she cries really HARD for about a half hour at a time. She also ***** on anything near her - bib, etc.
ETA: I gave her .4ml of Tylenol for the pain. Seemed to help a little yesterday so I just gave her some more this morning since all she's doing this morning is fussing and putting her hands in her mouth.

It's so annoying, teething can start early it seems to last forever! Anjali was sleeping great, then at 4 months started drooling and waking up at night. She just cut her first tooth at 6 months. One day I saw a little white spec, then she had a 100 fever for just one day, then gum looked clear, the next day it cut. That's just the beginning of so many more to come!
