I don't care if DH goes to one. I do think people are getting a bit excessive with going away for 3-5 days to party it up. For example, Vegas or an island. It is a lot of money and if DH is going away for a couple of days I would like to join him. Other than that, I have no problems with the strip clubs or partying it up for the night, I completely trust him.

I think its ok "not to like it". Hell I would find any woman that LIKES her husband getting a lap dance... kinda strange.
As Don would agree with me... there is a MAJOR difference between not liking it... and not ALLOWING it.

I'm totally fine with it. Only the money sometimes bothers me. DH spent over $1000 on his brothers bach party and they only went to Ocean City, MD!

I have never been faced with it either. DH hates taking off work to go to the actual wedding. He would never take off work and go drop money on a night out like that. Never been faced with it, thankful of it...I know I would not like it, but it is not DH's cup of tea anyway.

It wouldn't bother me. I trust my husband completely, and as far as the expense, he spends so little on himself usually, that I really wouldn't mind him going somewhere for the weekend, especially if it was close, like AC. I also know he is not a fan of them, so maybe it doesn't bother me because I know he doesn't really want to go anyway.....He didn't have one himself.
As far as the lap dance thing, I wouldn't pay for one, but since it's all our money, aren't I paying anyway if he pays?

well, dh and I went to Gossip the one in Farmingdale I think. Girls were all over me & him. Another couple was w/ us. My friend and I were the only non stripper girls there. I asked if he wanted a lap dance and he said no. I think he was afraid of getting "hot" while I was there.

The whole bachelor party thing doesnt bother me. DH went to one in New Orleans over the summer and I actually made all the travel arrangments for the group.
I will admit that I would probably not want him to go away again for that length of time (5 days) but all his friends went to montreal for his so I feel he has to go for them. We acutally had a conversation abou this recently because a friend is getting married next april and the BM just sent an email to see who wanted to go on the BP. DH was telling me he really didnt feel like it, but I told him I thought he should because this guy went to his!
Basically its a fact of life that I dont see as a big deal!
