How do you clear snow from your driveway?

How do you clear snow from your driveway? At least the bulk of it. Even people with snowblowers and plows typically need to shovel a little bit in the awkward spots.

I have a plow on my pickup, which makes my circular drive very easy to clear. I'm still looking forward to if and when I can get a heated driveway. Just turn on a switch when the snow starts, and it never accumulates. That's going to be a while, still....

We call "Tony" the snow blower guy. He was here right when the snow stopped and cleared out driveway and walk way with his snowblower in no time and then came back later to clear up anything that had blown back onto the driveway and walkway

I said snow blower but in reality I should have said DH. I don't touch the snow removal.

I dig my own car out from the street. I dont have a driveway. I also dig spots out to park when i get home each evening (thats what its like with street parking in queens when there is snow!) thank God for 4 wheel drive!

My garden co-op fee include snow removal of my stoop and the sidewalks.

I was just telling someone, that I have NEVER in my life shoveled snow. I don't think I'd know how.

I clean off the cars; shovel around the cars, etc.. It makes it easier for DH to get around his path with the snowblower. If I'm bored; I'll start the walkway.

I did happen to notice that not many women were outside helping.

I feel if I help; it makes it get done quicker; besides who doesn't need the exercise.

Normally DH and I do it little by little. But DH has been sick with bronchitis and I'm pregnant so we hired the landscaper that goes to my BIL's house.

Shovel. Luckily our walk way and driveway is small.

We have a snowblower. But DH has to shovel around the cars a little bit. Just to clear it from up against the car.

Shovel! We moved into a home this summer and it's the first time I've ever shoveled a driveway. It s*cked!!! My back is so sore today.

Dh uses the snowblower and we will shovel some parts we can't snoblow, like the steps

Dh was working from home plus one of the kids was sick. Dh and the sick kid stayed inside and My and the other 2 kids shoveled. So I shoveled a 2 car driveway and the kids played in the snow. Took 3 hours but I wore my heart rate monitor lol I burned about 1300 calories lol It was so worth it.

No men in my house. So it's me. I use the snow blower & shovel.

I don't have a driveway, so that helps!
We have outside parking spots for our co-op. DH shovels. We only have one shovel & one car, so DH does that.


Our co-op has a little golf cart plow for the sidewalks with in the complex, which I think is awesome.

DH shovels. I am not a shoveler, but I sat around yesterday eating like an oinker, so for that reason alone I should have done some shoveling!

DH uses a tractor with a plow if he's home (150'x24' driveway), otherwise we have a contract with our landscaper.

I'll remove snow from the vehicles and shovel the walkway if my DH is traveling or I'm out first, but I don't know how to drive the tractor. (My truck clears the snow anyway.)
