How do people NOT KNOW that they have bad breath???????

I just don't understand how you don't smell your own bad breath... especially when is stinks up the room and smells like cow $h!T!!!!!!!

How can you not it's right under your nose!

OMG DH had such dragon breath the other night that I had to get up in the middle of the night & sleep in the other room. I dunno what he ate but it did not love him

Umm...when you have bad breath you can not only smell it yourself but you can taste it.

I would think you would know. I usually do and hate when I have no gum or mints in my bag.
I did notice that when someone is sick (Cold, strep, etc) that their breath gives off this awful odor that even a mint can't help.

People with chronic bad breath and body odor often do not know how offensive their odors are. When you are surrounded by your own odor all day, you may not know.

OMG...my BIL has the worse breath EVER!!! It is so bad that I sceeve (sp?) him so much that everytime he comes near my DD or gives her a kiss I have to wipe her down with soap and water before I can kiss her myself I am getting sick just thinking about it

I know someone who has such bad breath- I cannot say who it is but it is BAD and I see them A LOT and it is always in my face.

My Mom has a theory- that this person has gum disease and that is why it is "funky"... There is an odor people give off when they do not floss or they have some kind of gum disease and she said she knows exactly what it is when she smells it on this person!

We cannot say anything but one day- I was over this person's house and asked to borrow floss b/c after dinner I had something stuck- and they replied "we have no floss in the house" and that was my answer right there! So that smell is from years of rotting food in their teeth that never come out

Seriously !! We have this one girl at work who I call DRAGON BREATH....she eats this foreign food and then pops a foreign breath mint - she STILL has bad breath...i HAVE to hold my breath when I"m near her - her breath smells like a gerbil crawled down there while she was sleepin and DIED!!! Like rotten chilli or something! Arghhhhhhhhh soooo rancid!

The worst was when I had horrific morning sickness and then I had to talk to someone with bad breath - I was afraid I'd puke in their face!!!

I think people like that don't realize because it gradually fills the room and they get used to it.

So when you walk in it punches you in the face.

That's why I ALWAYS have gum on me.
