How do celebs lose and gain weight ...
so often? Aren't they (or do they even get) cellulite or stretch marks from doing this? I just read something about Beyonce and how she starved herself to do Dreamgirls, but now she's back to eating crappy foods. I wonder if this affects them....and if it did, we would never see it thanks to miracle of airbrush that makes the rest of us feel like poo.

They are constantly fluctuating in their weight....Most actors are asked by the production/director to gain xyz or lose xyz....
It's very unhealthy to "shock" your body like that.
In regards to whether they have stretch marks, cellulite, etc...Yes! Absolutely. Actually, there's a website that Qiana posted on LIW (looking for it now) that shows before & after's photoshop of a lot of celebs.

i'm sure it affects them the same way it would affect us. but they have a whole slew of people who help them, trainers, doctors what have you. i'm sure its unhealty and i'm sure they will pay the price down the road

I know someone who had a special on NBC and he had to lose weight and I called it the NBC diet, they told him what to do to get off about 30 pounds quickly, it basically was like Atkins but stricter, and he lost it very quickly. IMHO, I do not think it this is right or correct for the image it sends.

I also believe that due to these extreme diets and starvation periods, some of these celebrites are having trouble conceiving.

This can easily turn into a post on eating disorders and eating habits among celebs as of late, but since someone mentioned conceiving it reminded me of something.
My cousin's husband is the vice president of pay per view international at Fox in Beverly Hills, (they live on the same street as Denise Richards and Heather Locklear in Westlake Village!) and he has some pretty high-profile friends who hang (hung) out with Aniston and Pitt. My cousin's DH swears up and down that he knows for a fact the reason those 2 split was because Pitt really wanted kids (obviously) but she was terrified of what it would do to her body, and he eventually had enough. It's sad.

One of my favorite moments in life was when I worked at Victoria's Secret when they sent us untouched photos for a new campaign.
NO ONE is perfect - not even Victoria's Secret models.
I should have stolen those pictures....

Sometimes I think they purposely gain weight so when they lose it they'll be back in the spotlight or on a million magazines that show their weightloss. Sick but I truly believe it!
