I need glasses for the movies, driving long distances (ie: the LIE or at night), or when I'm going someplace new. I can't make out faces from 20 feet away, but I'll recognize clothing or voices.

my eyes are terrible. i wear glasses all the time, except for when im going out to a special occasion or something, ill wear my contacts.

I'm blind. I have both glasses and contacts but only wear them when driving(all the time) or watching tv(50% of the time).
I know I'm making my eyesight worse by not wearing them more often. I am always squinting.
I'm waiting to get a job so I can utilize flex spending and then get Lasik at the end of the year. I can't wait.

His recovery was tough...not nearly as easy as everyone else. His eyesight is much improved but he has some issues with carlights at night. So it is a slow process....he got it done in June

Same here, I can't even see my huge alarm clock in the morning with out putting glasses on. I wear contacts 99% of the time though.
