Holy Moly!!!!!!!!!!!!! We finally reached an agreement on a name!
Thank God!! 
DH and I weren't agreeing on anything-everything I liked, he didn't..
So here's what I got him to do-
I sent him the link to the Social Security list of names for each state. I told him to look at it, pick a few names and then tell me what he comes up with..
Well he came up with 3 great names 
And we both had the same favorite-which I'm going to keep as a surprise 
Ladies, it was a brilliant tactic and helped us find something relatively painlessly.
Now let's hope neither of us changes our mind in the next 18 weeks!

DH and I are still working on names. I think its such a HUGE deal and since we're team  it makes it so much harder!!

That's great news! Trust me I know how hard agreeing on a name can be! It's such a relief to finally come up with an agreement!

i totally agree!! we are team also and it's like we need 2 names and 1 isn't even going to make it out of the gate! soooo frustrating...and to top it off DH doesn't like any names at all! we call the baby skippy as a nickname now and thats the only name he wants to use (boy or girl)

DH hates hates hates every boy name i throw out there so i really hope its a girl
he says my names are "white boy names" ummm last time i checked we are white

Yay!!! Congratulations on getting to that big decision!!!!
Our process was very easy... I had a name I loved since I was a little girl and had previously told DH about. When we got PG, I mentioned the name again... he said "I don't really love it with our last name... how about ____ instead?" (which started with the same letter, which is what was important to me) -- and I said "sure!"

oh that's so great. I might try that trick with DH but my problem is he's going to come up with three names i HATE!! Seriously - all his picks are ones I can't even pretend to put it the maybe pile!
I will take hope from your story though

YAY ! Congrats ! We still cannot agree. His names are IMO ridiculous. And he just doesn't like any of my names. I'm gonna give this a try & see where it gets us.
