Holiday Tipping - Always cash or are checks okay?
Do you always give cash when doing your holiday tipping or is it okay to give a check instead? Thanks

Unless it's someone you normally pay by check and you are just tacking the tip onto that check, I'd always tip in cash.

cash--just makes things easier--so they don't have to go to the bank and wait for a tip to clear.

we just tip the mailman... we got him a starbucks giftcard- it came with a cute little red stocking holder, it looked so cute when i put it in the mailbox
normally, i'm one to say don't tip because they're just doing their job... but ours is great! one day i was home and he was dropping off a box that wouldn't fit in the mailbox. i was on the phone and holding that too while he handed me the box and the mail... i dropped some of the mail, and told him i would get it later... he went into the bush by the door and got it for me he also doesn't mess up our mail as much as the guy at our other house did
