Holiday tipping Q
do you tip or buy a gift for everyone?
DH and I live in an apt complex and every year I buy small gifts for the 2 women who run the office and then we give the Super cash.
that's about it though...

We get the list (of 26 freakin people who work in our bldg plus our 13 garage people) so we do tip everyone (in cash) but cant afford much bc there are so many.

are you kidding? How much do you tip them, I am not sure I could afford to give that many people anything.

unfortunately, im not kidding. the amount varies by their function but we basically just have to budget for it bc it's expected. its truly amazing how the people who all year stand and watch you struggle to carry all of your packages into the elevator all of a sudden are smiling and saying hi

That's BS - you shouldn't be obligated to tip anyone, especially if they don't do anything until it's time for their tip
