highlighting dark hair
has anyone with really dark hair (almost black) had it highlighted? If so, what color? I wanted to do a brown, but wasn't sure how it would look. If you could post pics, please do! Thanks!

my hair is pretty dark (not quite black but very dark) and I have subtle caramel highlights. Sorry, I don't have any pictures though.
Your hairstylist should be able to recommend a color based on your base color.

I have black hair and when I used to have highlights they were caramel (same as PP).

Mine is dark brown, almost black and I used to get caramel highlights as well.

I did...She had to fix it to make it come out better. At first it was like white and black so I went back and she toned it. I guess they are a caramel color
