help me find a dress to wear to a black tie wedding in NYC
I'm going to a black tie wedding on a Sat night at one of the Ritz Carltons in NY next month. I don't have any long dresses that fit...it's been so long since I've worn one and the last few weddings I have been in the dresses were all short.
Anyway, I'm looking for something that will hide a little bit of extra weight that I have put on. Possibly empire waisted? Otherwise, I would like to keep the cost down so nothing to $$$. Im pretty open to colors, etc... Any suggestions? Thanks!

Macy's has a few nice, inexpensive options.
$80 and in 4 colors.
$129
$188- more expensive, but beautiful and flattering.
$90 and in red or black!
ETA: One more!
$140- simple, flattering, pretty.
ETAA: (Can you tell I'm bored at work?! LOL!)
From Lord & Taylor! Don't know if I love it or not, but pretty and different. On sale for $72.

I recently had to go to a black tie wedding and I bought a dress off the rack from Davids (LOL- don't hate).. it was only $99

I have a NYC black tie wedding coming up too - i found a dress at Estelle's for $89. I think technically it is a junior's dress, but whatev!

I have that dress and wore it a gala I was in charge of. It is sooo comfortable and I can not tell you the compliments i received from folks.

Thank you! I just ordered this dress from Lord & Taylor for the Marine Corps Ball that I have to go to!!!  I just hope it fits!
