Heartburn
I am dying over here today! Are we allowed to take TUMS or antacid tablets? I've never had heartburn in my life, so not sure what to do...

yes..tums are safe..i believe rolaids and mylanta are as well.
i know some on here were taking zantac which i tried, and pepcid.
nothing is working!!

tums are fine - i have heard mylanta is not okay.
when it gets bad enough - zantac is also fine....but please be sure to doublecheck any meds with your doc (they all have their own rules)...

mylanta was on my dr's list when i called.
i know a few women, including my MIL who lived on mylanta for 9 months.
every dr. says something different.
