Has this ever happened to anyone? (Question about knee pain)

After running on the treadmill Friday, I started getting a clicking sound in my knee when I would walk up stairs. There no pain or clicking when I walk or run...just when I walk up a flight of stairs. There is also no swelling and I dont even actually feel "pain"... It feels "weird" walking up stairs and then it subsides. I have an appointment with an orthopedist next week. Has anyone ever had this before?

yes I have that. It started iwth the clicking, and no pain but a loud crackling click. i had water and fluid on my knee and a swollen stretched meniscus shown by MRI.

I was in p/t for it, but couldnt afford it. I stopped and ended up tearing my meniscus in both knees.

You should see your PCP and do some Physical therapy now while you have no pain. It will just get worse.
