You may be better off asking this on PG or Parenting...most people here haven't gotten PG yet or are dealing with more complicated situations....

I was put on clomid for my luteal phase defect (no progesterone).

My LP was on the short side (about 11 days) and my RE recommended Clomid and progesterone. He told me that the Clomid would improve the quality of my eggs and maybe give the sperm more targets. HTH!
