I had my silver and gold ones replaced. No issues so far and now I don't get questions from little kids about my gold teeth.

Thank you guys SO much...I went to the dentist and we discussed. After looking at the xray he said the cavity underneath was huge and almost near nerve. We discussed it and he said could be 50 50 chance going to root canal but after explaining How it bothers me so much and I am self conscious he said that should be a reason to do it if I was on the fence. He gave me my warnings again and I decided what the heck. Worst case I land up with root canal ( I have had it I know it stinks). He went in and it was fine, he said he didn't go near the nerve and he forsees no issues. It looks 150% better and he said it was like night and day as the tooth had gray appearance and black line due to the filling and it is now all gone and looks perfect . So happy I did it. although no one noticed it before, I did and I feel better about my smile. Thank you all for your advice.

I only did it because the silver filling fell out. You could not see it because it was on a back molar.
