Happy early Thanksgiving...let's all remember the point of the day...
I know I haven't been on much lately, but I figured I'd sneak in (work is quiet  ) and wish you all a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving. 
Even with DH's health issues, we have a lot to be thankful for.
We have each other.
We have loving families.
We have our whole lives ahead of us.
And hopefully soon, we'll have our health.
In the spirit of the holiday, let us all be thankful for the biggest blessing we all share, for we are fortunate indeed, daily, and are blessed each and every morning upon waking. Just by breathing. Being alive. Sleeping on a comfortable bed, having warm sheets, a roof over our heads and food on our tables. This is what matters. We all have so much more than many others. Hope no one loses sight of that.
I'm also grateful for those of you genuine & caring enough to check on me occasionally. 
God bless each and every one of you and your familes!!

You are so right. My Unitarian Fellowship started their homeless shelter program a few weeks ago for the day laborers that live in the woods of Huntington. There are many, many people who don't even have a bed or a roof over their head nevermind a turkey with all of the trimmings this holiday.

 Yes, that's exactly my point. There are so many people all over with so much less. And I'm not just talking about the homeless. There's the working poor, who have so little. Many don't even have heat in their homes.
We all have problems, various events that are personally devastating, hardships in life. No one has a perfect life. But we also have so much to be thankful for.
We have the chance to hopefully be blessed and see another day. Try again tomorrow. Right a wrong. Work on a crisis. Live a better life. Many people don't even have the option. Let's focus on the little things for they usually help clarify the big picture that is life.
For this, we should all be thankful!!
