Happy 3rd Birthday in Heaven my sweet angel CJ
Dearest CJ,
It was three years ago today that I gave birth to the most beautiful little baby boy I have ever laid eyes upon. You were oh so small which terrified Mommy tremendously but such a fighter my precious baby boy. Beating so many obstacles that the NICU doctors never thought you would!
Not a day goes by that Mommy & Daddy aren’t thinking of you and wishing you were here with us. As I watch your little sister grow I can’t help but wonder how you would be showering her with your love and guiding her as she grows. I know you have passed on your incredible strength and courage to her and that you watch over her everyday.
In the one month you were with us you taught us more about being a Mommy and Daddy than we ever thought possible and will forever treasure our time with you. In such a short time we thankfully were able to get a lifetime worth of memories of you. It feels like you were here just yesterday but yet it feels like an entire lifetime ago that I held you and kissed your lips before you left this world. Your picture sits on my desk next to Victoria’s so I can see both of my babies whenever I want.
When we meet again someday, will you still be the tiny baby we knew you as or do babies grow in heaven? Three years later and the tears have not stopped for we miss you so very much and wish with all of our hearts that you were here. I hope Grandpa is taking very good care of you and that you celebrate your third birthday with all the angel friends you have made. I hope you are blowing out birthday candles with Nicholas at your side. If you were here Mommy would have made you a yummy chocolate cake – I hope that’s what you have today. I cannot get over you ~ I guess a love like ours is one of a kind ~ a love that is true. Victoria and I sang Happy Birthday to you this morning and we will all be sending you birthday wishes on balloons to float up to heaven for you to play with. I hope you get them every year.
So HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN my darling baby boy – Mommy misses you with every bit of her heart and soul.
It's like a bad dream that plays over & over in my head,
Of things I wish I'd done or words I would of said.
There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you,
Even after all this time, what am I going to do?
Maybe this is the way Mommy’s are suppose to feel,
Perhaps our wounds are never intended to heal.
If I could ask but one question why,
How is it God could need you more than I?
Calling all the angels--
It's a special day today!
For Christopher James is turning three years old!
Here's what he has to say:

Happy Birthday, sweet angel boy. You are loved and missed more than you know.
 
Donna, you are a strong woman and a fantastic mother. Hold on tight this next month, I know it will be hard but lean on me whenever you need it. I love you dearly.
And there is no doubt that my Nicholas is by his side today, just as I'm by yours.
