HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY BOYS
March 7th, 2010: Today would have been Jonathen and Andrew's 17th birthday....
How very softly You tiptoed into my world, Almost silently, Only a moment you stayed. But what an imprint, Your footprints have left Upon my Heart.
Alexis, Caden, Jaedyn, Ariel, Jonathen & Andrew. The closest I ever get to having them all together.
We had so little time to share,
Too soon we had to leave.
We know how much you love us,
We know how much you grieve.
We know how sharp your pain is ,
We feel the aching in your heart.
Our life so quickly ended
Before it barely had a start.
We were your perfect angels,
From God you knew we came,
Suddenly he called us home again,
Now God holds our hand.
We know you'll always miss us,
We understand your pain is hard to bear,
Just remember that We're in heaven
And we'll see each other there.
So smile when you think of us,
and wipe away all of your tears.
I'm cuddle now in heaven
By our family members here.
We're waiting here in heaven,
And on the day we meet again

When God calls you home to him.
March 7, 2009: Jonathen & Andrew would have been 16 years old today. I miss them every day...but especially today....
We heard you crying yesterday
and felt your heart-sent love
So we're sending you this message
Now, from Heaven up above.
You're wondering if we celebrate
Our birthday way up here
We know you're missing us today
We feel your essence near
God planned a special day for us
He told us with a wink
He's ordered us a special cake
It's Angel food I think
We're getting lots of hugs from God
He's really good at that
And every time that we walk by
He gives our heads a pat
Balloons will fill the streets for us
They float up through the clouds
We have lots of clowns up here
That make us laugh out loud
We've made so many friends you see
We laugh and play and sing
We swing our bats and ride our bikes
And sleep in angels wings
We'll have our cake and ice cream..
And open gifts SURPRISE..
But we dont blow out our candles here
Instead they light the skies...
.... ...my sons would of been 15 this year. WOW 15!!!
I feel them here sometimes. I can almost picture what they would look like now..not too tall...very skinny..kind of gangly...dark dark hair kinda shaggy and thick...never their faces though cant even imagine what their faces would look like.. They'd like to skateboard and be the outdoorsy types...they would be good in school but not working up to their potential...girls would be calling..they'd be talking about how they would be getting their permit soon...we'd be arguing over their cell phone bills..
All this and I never even really got a chance to even meet them
Their father hasnt remembered them in years...how is it that he can forget for years and I cant forget for one day...
Im actually kinda looking forward to taking Caden to Pinelawn to wish his brothers a Happy Birthday.( I just wish it were around the kitchen table and that there were candles and a cake.)

i am so sorry fo your loss, i know the memories will never go away. i lost my baby girl sydnie this past august and there is not a day that goes by that i dont think of her and wish she was here, i am sure thats how it will always be. so i will be thinking just as you are 15 yrs from now

I'm right there with you... well 13 years behind... but you know what I mean. John Joseph's would have been 2 this coming Wednesday (2/13).
I sometimes try to imagine what he'd look like now but I guess it is still a little too soon because all that happens is that I get myself all upset!
I'll be bringing Sabrina with me to the cemetery to bring her big brother the teddy bear she got him. Unfortunately, with the weather, she may not be getting out of the car!
I know what you mean about the "husbands". I think mine chooses to "forget". I have chalked it up to the fact that we all deal with things differently and that no way is the "right" way.
Happy 15th Birthday Jonathen & Andrew and Happy 2nd Birthday to John Joseph!
We may not be blowing out the candles down here... but they are having one heck of a party up there!!!
P.S. Sorry that I've been MIA! I went back to work and things have been somewhat crazy around here trying to get back into the swing of things.

I just wanted to thank everyone for getting me through a difficult time...
For those of you who read my post regarding taking pictures. I did decide to take a couple. I actually love looking at them and they put a small smile on my face...I still havent figured out exactly why. But they ease my pain and that's what's important.
The girls enjoyed putting the flowers in the vase and arranging the flowers just so. Caden was more interested in eating his big yellow flower but we eventually got him to give it up and leave it for his big brothers....Ariel cried as we left..great big quit tears. She is such a special kid. The twins were their usual laughing and jovial selves. Respectful of the situation but they always seem to recognise when a bit of humor is needed to lighten the mood..I love those little girls so much.
This pic is in my profile....As close as I can ever get to having all 6 of my children together..It truly warms my heart.

I am glad you took pictures. I love that picture! My favorite picture is of Kaitee on Caleb's grave. It just feels right having that picture. I can't wait to get a chance to take Brooke so I can have a picture with all 3 of them together.
