Ours is right outside the bathroom which is our bedroom. The MB and MBath ajoin.

We keep it in a large closet in the bedroom. DD has one in her room.

DH apparently thinks our bathroom floor IS a hamper bc that's where he leaves his clothes. 
However, we actually keep our hamper in another room bc our bathroom is too small.
