halisa's twins...
hi ladies!!
thank you all for your kind posts and fms. i got home on tuesday and it's been a whirlwind couple of days!
thanks pauline for posting the news of the twins' arrival and giving me the chance to share their facts, which are...
twin a was the baby girl 
Sofia Phyllis
6 lbs 15 oz (exactly what last growth sono said!)
18 inches
twin b was the baby boy 
Lorenzo Kenneth
8 lbs 12 oz (WAY OFF from growth sono!!)
21 inches
there are sooooooo many details of the last few days, but i am beyond delirious from lack of sleep, to organize them all so please be patient with me.
basically:
c-section
sofia spent first night in nicu (that issue is resolved now)
both have jaundice, requiring us to go back to the hospital EVERYDAY since being home for bloodwork. please pray tomorrow is last one!
and the biggest challenge/thrill:
the babies and i are perfecting the art of tandem nursing!! probably the hardest work i have ever done.
they are so exceptionally sweet and i can't get enough of them, even when i feel like i can't survive another minute.
i promise pictures will be coming super soon.

THanks so much for posting! What a great weight for each of those babies. I love the names and I can't wait to see pictures. CONGRATULATIONS! I  the jaundice will end soon. And way to go on the tandem nursing - you'll be an expert in that field!!

Congrats!!
Wow, they were great weights
Tandem nursing is not an easy task. The first time I did it I didn't know what to think. It's very challenging BFing twins. Stick to your guns and make sure you have plenty of support. The first few weeks are round the clock but it does get better and you will get into the groove.

I was starting to get nervous that I hadnt heard from you. I spoke to DH the day after they were born (you were resting) I hope he told you I called. Anyway he said Sofia was doing better, but then you made me worry.
Can't you tandem BF and post on LIF at the same time?
I cant wait to see the not so little Halisa littles
