Half-Bathroom Remodel update! 7/8/11 (Towards bottom of 1st post)
DH has a day off today...and this is what he did to my 1/2 bathroom while I'm here at work. These are the pictures that were just sent...surprise!!!! He decided since the stairs are done, he can start the remodel of our 1/2 bath.
I'm  ing this is a faster job than the stairs. 
**UPDATE** February 25
So far, DH has installed new outlets, switches, overhead lighting. He's also moved almost all the plumbing including the toilet, air pipes, and water pipes for the washer. He had to cut out two large holes in our foundation to complete this, and re-work all the copper piping above and below ground. Then, refill with cement.
Today he changed out the old insulation to the new insulation.
We're in the process of picking out a faucet so he can move the pipes for the vanity.
This will be the vanity:
And this is the vanity with the color tile we'll be putting down. It's a light gray with some texture to make it look kind of wood grained. (My bad cut and paste job)
With this vessel sink, I'm pretty sure we've decided on this one because of the size limitation of the vanity itself. I can't do a long rectangular one like I originally wanted, and now I can't do the flower (too big)-so we're changing it to this:
So, this is what my half bath/laundry room looks like right now:
The GOOD news is that I have a washer and dryer back again. We went 3 weeks without them. I had to bring our clothes to my MIL, and she did my laundry for me. 
That's it for now.
**UPDATE** March 1
So, we had to change the vessel sink....again. Because when DH made a template of how big the flower one would be, it was going to be huge.
So, this is the new one.
Oh, and DH just sent me pictures of the wall he just removed. REMOVED!!!!!! He is going to put a pocket door here bc it would be weird with a swinging door in this spot. The washer/dryer will be stacked eventually. I guess he's ready to frame it.
**Update May 9th**
So DH and I have been busy. He put up the framing for the pocketdoor:
Completed the sheetrocking:
Our sink arrived:
"I" spackled, taped, and sanded, then spackled and sanded again....primed the whole room twice...
On Friday night I painted the room:
And on Saturday my dad came over to teach DH how to tile:
Today DH is picking up the grout and grouting the room!!!
**UPDATE May 12th**
So we have grouted tile, a baseboard, outlet covers, and a Toilet-Ta DAA!!!!!!
(DH called me to tell me he already peed in it. )
******UPDATE July 8th*******
It's been a while because we've been doing little touch ups on the bathroom, but we have the washer and dryer stacked (you should have seen that debacle with me and DH lifting them ). DH also completed the molding, installed the vanity, and today.....we received the granite! Ta daaaaaa!!!!! DH is going to install the sink, and the faucet today as well. All I need now, is a mirror.

Everything is a learning process!!! He's learned how to do electric and plumbing now. He's so proud of himself!

We have a Kraus Farm sink in the kitchen and love it - Did you get it from efaucets.com??
I love the tile that looks like wood floors. I saw it at Prada tile in Levittown
SO far everything looks great
