Why why why would the cheif make Calie cheif resident? I thought for sure Miranda was gonna be named cheif of surgery.
I didn't remember hearing that both Burk AND George were leaving the show.. that was a SHOCKER! After that little practice vow thing Burk gave in the operating room about how he's sure.. then all of the sudden he's not so sure? COME ON...
And honestly, what is up with Meredith? Someone needs to get that girl on some medication.

I think last night's was so ironic compared to how they propped it up to be throughout the entire season...it was all happy happy and then the sour ending on everyone's part...but I think next season is going to be awesome...I can't wait. I also think that Christina was actually relieved that Burke left...I don't think she was ready to get married...thus the choker placed around her neck by her future MIL....

You know, it is SO DEPRESSING!!! I never really realized how sad a show it is until last night. Not ONE good thing happens for ANYONE!?!? 
1st of all... W T F is wrong with Meredith??? Why can't she see what's in front of her?? He told her she's the LOVE OF HIS LIFE!?!??!?  I was feeling bad for her last week, yeah, not so much anymore 
2nd - Why would Callie get Chief Resident? I think that was a bad call. Not liking it at all especially because she was never a "real player" in the show, IMO. I would be expecting her and George to be on the rocks because...
3rd - George and Izzy HAVE to get together!!! I think Callie is just f-ing with Izzy telling her they "tried for a baby" that morning. She knows something's going on.
4th - POOR CHRISTINA!!!  That was so sad and I feel so bad for her because you finally saw her "break". She really loved him and would do ANYTHING for him and he just ended it and left!???!  SO SAD.
5th - And the Chief... the baby... that was very touching.
UGH! This SHOW!!

Totally agree, didn't you hear her say "I'm FREE!" I still loved them together, and Burk annoyed me last night.

Oh and in reference to the new "Grey" girl... she was the one in the bar that tried to pick up McDreamy right?
I do believe she is the uber smart, "other" sister that her dad had with the stepmom.
Do we really need another Grey girl??

I think Callie got chief resident b/c of the incident with Denny plus Miranda's involvement with the clinic.
Overall, ugg this show is so hard to watch. Can they throw us a bone and give us something worth hanging on to.

Although it was depressing, I really liked the finale. I hate that there's such a long time between the finale and the beginning of next season.
I completely missed that the woman who hit on Derek was Lexi Grey.
Does anyone know if it has been confirmed that Isaiah Washington is not returning next season? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything that said he was fired.

I'm pretty sure it was this one. She's def. been seen before because I recognized her as Meredith's half sister when she approached Derek in the bar. That was the same episode. She said she had had a bad day too (referring to the funeral).
I don't really like that they are bringing her in. The drama is too predictable. In no time this show is going to have an ER character turnover rate.

no she was the one at the hospital the day of her stepmothers funeral...I believe the sister that had a baby was named amy
