Do you ever trim your own? I just got them a month ago, and they're in my eyes. I need a trim. I'm scared to do myself though.

Where did you get your cut? some places like Aveda give free bang trims (if you got your initial cut there).

I'd call your salon to see if they give bang trims.

I cut my bangs all the time!! LOL. Dont do it!! I have messed them up so many times. I do it cause iam lazy. LOL. Im getting my haircut tomorrow, i know my hairdresser will yell at me! LOL

First of all, to all of you scared ladies - I LOVE my bangs, but have also seen "bangs gone wrong" so ask your hair girl if she thinks it will work. Some people have a cowlick in the front and bangs will never look right.
Second, my girl is going to give me a trim on monday at work! Yay!

I haven't had bangs since high school but I NEVER cut 'em myself either. I have too many bad memories of my childhood when my mother would trim 'em and they'd end up either crooked or WAY too short. And there's nothing worse than short bangs. lol.

Always been too scared to!!! I just grow them lol My salon does do free bang cuts though I think.
BTW ty for this, I have been meaning to call to get a cut and have just forgotten lol I'm going back to bangs

I think it would depend what kind of bangs. I was a hair stylist for a while so I always trim mine when I feel like it, but if you have whispy bangs...it's so easy! Just do a little snip snip at a time  ALSO, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS cut them DRY. When your hair is wet and you cut it,it dries shorter!!

I once cut my own bangs back in HS.
I didn't do it even and in the process of trying to even them out, I made them SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO short!!! I see pics from them and it's SO embarassing!
I don't know how I showed my face in school after that!

Usually after I drink a few glasses of wine....I decide that my bangs r in my way and cut them myself.
I usually wake up the next day horrified because I look like a 6 year old!

NO, I did once yrs ago. my hair was wet, I pulled them down threw my fingers, and cut. and OMG , From me pulling them down after I cut they went to the top of my for head and I looked like captain kangaroo, it was a nightmare

Sometime I trim them on my own but my stylist does free bang trimmings in between cutting so the only reason for me to do it is if im too lazy to call her and go up there
