That's what I thought of immediately! I had them back in the day  and they did the job well. You got used to the feeling of something under your foot but then stirrup pants were in then too.

Me too! I remember wearing stirruped pants. I always felt like my pants were being pulled down

My jeans always bunch up at the knees but I just though maybe I needed tighter jeans.

but they doesnt take away from the bunchiness of the jeans
i prefer folding and warpping the fold around my leg and stuffing in a longer boot sock- that seems to do the trick

Too funny!!! I still had mine from when I was a kid, so I found them and tried to use them for my jeans. I think the elastic was so old, they just ripped apart. But damn, those things were awesome!
