Getting Anxious
I have so many replies I need to type out and congratulations I need to send to people, but right now I only have 10 minutes before I need to leave for work so I'll have to get to some of them tonight!
I go to the doctor tonight for my 38 week appointment. I really want to talk him into inducing me or having a c-section. The baby is just so huge according to the sonos (I'll get another one tonight but last week it was 9lbs 2 oz) and I'm just so tired and uncomfortable, I just want to meet my baby already!!!
By Sunday I'll be 39 weeks so I'm really hoping that the doctor will be willing to do something. I know it's nice to wait till your due date and always better to go naturally, but I just want to have this baby already!
Lets see if he'll even consider it tonight! I hope he does!

Well, I had my appointment last night. Another 3 hours in the doctor's office, but this time it wasn't thier fault, my mom took FOREVER to get there for the sono and I didn't want to start without her because I am hoping it was my last one!
The baby measured in at 9lbs 12 oz on the sonogram. She said that's probably a skimpy measurement but she doesn't want to freak me out! The baby was "moderately non-reactive" again on the NST, but he isn't asking me to come back tomorrow for it, because he thinks maybe that's just how they come out for me and the BPP was fine.
I asked him if we were going to do anything -- induce, c-section, ANYTHING. I told him I'm uncomfortable, exhausted, and getting really afraid since the baby is measuring big, and he said there really isn't much difference between 9-2 and 9-12 and people deliver babies like that all the time so we aren't doing anything. He said it's just too soon to (I'm 38 weeks, 39 on sunday) but we made my appointment for next week for monday when I will be 39 weeks to check if I've made any progress at all.
We talked about how if he induces me when I'm not ready there could be more risks involved then just waiting till I'm 40 weeks and doing a c-section. It certainly wasn't what I wanted to hear, but I guess I have no choice in the matter.
One plus is that today is my last day of work! I've been so exhausted getting up at 5:15 and driving into Brooklyn to teach every day, so it'll be really nice to have a few days maybe to sleep before the baby comes.
