Genetic testing!
Hi girls,
I went to my gyno yesterday for a routine checkup, everything looks great down there...(his words).
I told him we will TTC in a month or so...he suggested genetic testing....so I did it...it was a blood test...now I need to wait for my results in 2 weeks....
did anyone of you have it done? what do the test show??
any help would be appreciated...I am clueless...

Yes genetic testing is done either prior to or when a person is pregnant. It will show if you are a carrier of certain diseases like cystic fibrosis, Sickle cell anemia ,Tay-Sachs disease ,Beta-thalassemia etc. It really depends on your ethnic background for what they test you for.
