In HS, I remember having every half-size from 8 to 10, and they all fit perfectly. My soccer cleats were 10s. I think my wrestling sneakers were 9.5. I had various shoes or boots that were 8, 8.5 and 9.
Why bother having "standard" shoe sizes if they are all different anyway?

no idea on technical size - but suffice it to say - even after 6 years - it still hurts when going in...
he's a big boy!
eta: his shoe size is a 14 - and it definitely rings true in that case...
