found out what I am having!!! UPDATED with a question...
I am very excited!! My husband is thrilled, he was convinced I am carrying girls. It was confirmed today, two boys!! I'm nervous about two boys, but will be very thankful just to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy babies!!
So, twin mamas of boys, I'll be asking lots of questions!!
UPDATE TO POST:
This is mainly for those of you who have two of the same gender. So today I told some people what I was having and was pretty upset at some of the comments....some were fine, "oh, that's great", etc....but then I got some that really annoyed me. One person, who I consider a work friend surprised me when I told her I found out the genders:
Me: We found out what we're having
Her: Oh, is it one of each?
Me: No
Her: Ohhhhh (disappointment in her voice)
Me: Two boys
Her: too bad you would have been done
Ok, so I should just keep trying to get pregnant just to try for a girl.
Then later, I tell someone else:
"wooooooo, are you going to have your hands full"
Ok, so maybe next time when I go to the gender selection store, I'll be sure to pick out boy/girl twins so everyone is happy! What is wrong with people??? I'm not going to lie, I would have loved to have one girl and one boy, this will probably be our only children as I'm not that young, but I feel grateful if they are two healthy children regardless of gender.
Sorry so long and for the vent, just curious if any of you have experienced this???

 The comments can be unintentionally hurtful. I've definitely gotten my share of "you've got your hands full" with my 2 very active boys. And even though I don't have one of each, I've still gotten the comment "once and done." Shake it off and focus on those beautiful boys to come! You're so incredibly lucky

First congrats
All babies are a blessing. Twins, no matter what the gender combo are a double blessing
I think people are so fascinated with multiples that they just feel they need to comment even when the comments are unintentionally insensitive.
No matter what the gender combo, there are comments. I get the "Oh, a b/g? So I guess you're done huh?" Well, what if I wasn't?
I usually try to put a positive spin on everyone's comments. When people say to me, "You must have your hands full" I respond by saying, "My heart is even fuller thank you"
Oh, and I know the stereotype that all mommies want their girl but I can tell you I know several mommies of boys that LOVE being a boy mommy.
My DD is fiercely independent (love that about her) but my DS, still just loves to be held by his momma I think boys love to snuggle more.

Oh my god yes! My first was a boy and then I got pregnant with twin boys...everyone asks me if I am going to try for a girl.

Yup i still get it. It is very annoying and I at first was thinking, one of each would be great, but yah know what I could not be happier with two boys, they will be best friends, probably play the same sports, do the same activities where I won't be going to dance as DH is going to baseball. If we were to have another, I would actually want another boy.
Tell everyone else to shove it!

People just think you can pick and choose what you want. I know so many people who had two boys or two girls, tried for a third and got the same gender! I'm sure they got more comments than I am getting.

Insensative comments are the norm .. get use to it. They just keep coming throughout your pregnancy and well after they are here.
I honestly don't take it to heart at all as I am well aware that i probably have made insensitive comments to others without thinking about it.
I think most people just want to say something and sometimes what comes out can be a little weird or kooky, but most of the time people mean well and that is the most important part.
So brush it off and don't think about it. Wait to you are really big and really hormonal and people comment on how big you are and how bad you look. That is a lot of fun !

FIrst off you have to just ignore stupid comments...you will see, they will come often!  After hearing one over and over again, I would come up with the best snappy "comeback" and use it, against DH's wishes of course! But it always made me feel better!
You are blessed! You are having 2 boys! Instant playmates, instant best friends, instant companionship! I would not even acknowledge those people!
If you need anything, here's the place to come! All of the mommies here are so amazing!

First and Foremost, Congratulations on your two sons! Aren't you lucky!
Now, I hate when people say to me "wow, boy, girl, how wonderful, now you are done!" My response is now "Actually, no, we aren't done, just very blessed! and if it were two of each, that would have been a blessing as well!"

just a lurker here. BUt I love reading stories of multiples.
Anyway, I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!
I wanted to add, that I really wanted a girl, and I got a boy, and I have to say, I could not love him anymore. He is my life, and when you hold your babies, it won't matter, and in general people and there comments are idiotic, LOL
