For those who have United Healthcare... who's your Peri-Natalogist?
I want to find someone GOOD who participates in our plan. (NYSHIP/Empire Plan)
Either Massapequa or Islip area preferred, but not necessary. TIA!

I used Madonna Perinatology when I was pregnant with DS. They were good and located in Babylon.
Now I'm using a practice in Mineola affiliated with Winthrop.

Yes, they accept United Healthcare as in network.
I only switched because I changed OB's and they use a different perinatologist.

I see dr. Bergman in mineola. He used to be with preferd women's health, but left the practice to do consulting at madonna. Hpwever he still sees his high risk patients even for regualr gynecological visits (the ones that followed him, anyway). I dont know if he is taking on any new patients, but it's worth a shot. The practice takes our plan and he's wonderful.

I live in Massapequa and go to LI Women's Healthcare in Bellmore. I'm pregnant with twins so my OB-GYN wanted me to see a high risk doctor as well and referred me to Madonna. I see Dr. Bergman. I'm able to make appointments with him at the Bellmore location. I have also been to Madonna's Brightwaters location since it is closer to me than Mineola. I have Empire and all I have to pay is the co-pay. HTH!!!
